Occasically you will find us at pop-up locations and events around Northeast Ohio. Check the Events page for upcoming dates and details!

  • How does ordering + shipping work?

All meat orders are packaged and shipped every Tuesday. Each order is packed frozen into insulated boxes with dry ice and shipped via UPS straight to your door. Open your box as soon possible, handling any dry ice with care, and place your items into the freezer. Our boxes and liners are 100% recyclable, so please do your part!

    Please Note:

Once an order has been placed, we cannot add or subtract items. If you would like any additional items, please place a new order.

  • How are your products different?

Our business is built on a love for family, a heart for community and the environment, and a passion for good, local food. We hold ourselves to a higher standard, one that goes beyond labels. To offer a wide range of products, we proudly partner with local like-minded farms and businesses who already meet the standards we practice.

All meats offered in our store are sourced from local farms and ranches who, like us, believe that good things take time. Unlike traditional feedlot and confinement house operations, our cows, sheep, chickens, and pigs spend their days grazing and foraging in pastures and paddocks. By allowing our animals to mature slowly, the result is an end-product that is full of natural flavor and rich in health benefits.

All non-meat items hail from the Midwest. We look to partner with small and or local businesses with unique items that complement our meat products.

  • Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes! Our box, insulation liner, and packaging paper are all recyclable. We try to use as much environmentally friendly material as we can, and we hope you will do your part by recycling your packaging after it arrives.

  • Where do you ship your meats?

Currently, we ship our meats to the contiguous United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, or internationally.

  • Do you offer large orders?

We do! We offer whole, half, and quarter beef, whole and half hogs, and whole and half lamb orders. You can find more information on our animal shares here.

  • Is your beef 100% grass-fed/grass-finished?

Producing beef on grass is an art. Our cattle spend their entire life on pasture, having access to a buffet of grasses and legumes. In Ohio, the protein and energy found in the forage changes from season to season. Temperature, rainfall, and weather patterns all effect the nutrients available to a ruminant animal. Based on the conditions of the growing season, beef has the potential to be inconsistently finished from animal to animal and season to season.

To compensate for that and offer a consistently well marbled, flavorful product, we practice a 90-day finish period during which our cattle are offered a thoughtfully balanced ration of corn silage while continuing to be out on pasture. By doing this our beef has all the health benefits of a slow-growing grass-fed lifestyle, while still being well marbled and full of flavor.

  • Are you organic?

We believe that actions speak louder than labels, and while we are not certified organic, we consider ourselves ‘organically-minded’. We partner with farms who do not use chemicals of any kind, practice sustainable farming methods, and take direction from nature. The end result are products raised with integrity. If we wouldn’t feed it to our own family, we certainly wouldn’t offer it to you. Transparency is something we value, and we strive to build an honest relationship between producers and consumers.

  • Are your meats hormone free?

Yes, our meats are 100% free of any kind of growth or added hormones.

  • Are your meats non-GMO?

    Yes, our meats are non-GMO.

  • Are your meats free of antibiotics?

With proper care, administration, and following of standard withdrawal periods, an animal given antibiotics in their lifetime is perfectly safe to eat. While we know this to be true, the meat we sell through Farm + Table is always 100% antibiotic free

The farms we partner with feel as caretakers they are responsible for the wellbeing of their animals. In the event an animal needs treated for illness or in a life-saving situation, antibiotics may be administered, and the animal is identified and pulled from our meat program.
